Procrastination

So yesterday I had to give a PowerPoint Training. I have known about this training for a couple of months and had put my presentation together weeks ago. The only thing missing from it was examples of media clips that can be inserted into the presentation, and I had made up my mind that I was going to make two videos to include that described how the media clips could work in the program.

As noted prior, I didn't do much over the weekend - and I especially did not make two videos.

"No problem," she tells herself confidently optimistic (we've been here before, you see), "I'll make them after work on Monday."

Or. I'll. forget.

So Tuesday morning arrives, the day of the presentation and I still have no videos. My honey graciously agrees to help out, which he had agreed to do long ago and I never took advantage of. So, here we are, 7:30 in the morning, outside making a video. The good news was it only took 3 takes to get the two videos, so I figure if my regular gig doesn't work out, I can always move to hollywood and become an actress! Uh-huh.

The bad news is, after all that last minute rushing to get the darn things made, downloaded, copied onto a drive, take to work, update the presentation, repackage it for transport, etc. etc., when I finally gave the presentation - the damn things didn't show up anyway! grrrr....
