that lies beneath
the chocolate covered cherry
You are the glue
in all you do
to keep me grounded
in the truth
Mom, you are the spirit
that delivers
smiles amongst the bitter
You are the star
that shines afar
and covers me with warmth
Mom, you are the moon
always in bloom
just like a rose in June
